• 2023: “It’s Time We Identify True Leadership, Non-cabal Governance” – Sowore

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a presidential candidate in the 2023 Nigerian election, Omoyele Sowore, on Friday asked Nigerians to choose leaders that are incorruptible and selfless.

Sowore in a post on his verified Facebook page counseled Nigerians against opting for politicians who “brought us to this sorry pass”.

“For Nigerians It’s yet another opportunity to chose a leader who got the willingness to stick with a bold course of action, an unconventional strategist, someone willing to travel a unique road never traveled, not a leader who only want to run for their personal ambitions, that’s what brought us to this sorry pass.

“The only way to stand out from the crowd is to stand for something different even if one must stand alone. It’s time we identify true leadership, non-cabal governance, non-godfatherism, non-corrupt and a leader that will serve his/her people without expecting instant or delayed gratification. We must ride by all every means to an everlasting destination,” Sowore wrote.

The 2023 Nigerian elections will be held, in large part, on 18 February 2023.
