The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has officially announced the opening of its online application portal for teaching vacancies across the state.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the announcement was made on Monday afternoon by the Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, Dr. Hakeem Shittu, via the board’s official Facebook page, following the kind approval of the Lagos State Governor.
According to the notice, the recruitment is open to qualified individuals who are passionate about teaching and committed to improving the quality of basic education in Lagos State.
Dr. Shittu explained that the initiative aligns with the state government’s vision of enhancing education at the grassroots.
“We are committed to raising the standard of education in Lagos State, and this recruitment is another step in ensuring that our schools are manned by qualified and dedicated teachers,” he said.
He further advised applicants to be cautious of fraudsters. “This process is completely free. Nobody should pay anyone for application.
The only acceptable method of applying is through the official LASUBEB job portal,” Dr. Shittu added.
The notice highlighted that the application portal, https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng, will remain open until October 14, 2025. Interested candidates were urged to apply promptly and ensure compliance with all guidelines.
