Among the major ongoing projects are the construction of a Type-C Modern Primary Health Centre and a Type-A PHC at Okun Ise, alongside the rehabilitation of the Apakin PHC.
The council has also renovated Folu Primary School and provided new whiteboards to enhance teaching and learning in public schools.
“Our goal is to make health and education accessible to every resident,” Kasali said. “These projects are not just structures; they represent our investment in the well-being and future of our people.”
The administration has also carried out the channelization of waterways to prevent flooding, while ensuring regular clearance of road verges and monthly fumigation of all public facilities for a cleaner and safer environment.

On welfare and human development, the council has sustained free skill acquisition and IT training programs for youths and staff.
A summer coaching program was also organized for students to boost academic performance during the holidays.
Kasali’s administration has maintained a monthly food palliative distribution scheme and introduced free monthly medical checkups for council staff.
In addition, several free health missions focusing on eye care, prostate cancer, and general medical services have been held to promote community wellness.
To further strengthen education, the council awarded prizes to outstanding students in public schools and distributed “Back to School” materials to encourage learning.
“These initiatives are part of our vision to build a progressive, healthy, and educated community,” Kasali added. “We will continue to deliver on our promises and ensure that development reaches every ward in Lekki LCDA.”
The Executive Chairman’s first 100 days in office have been characterized by visible progress and a leadership style that prioritizes people’s needs over politics — a reflection of a government committed to sustainable growth and inclusive development.
