- Hon. Lanre Ogundele urged APC members to close ranks following the conclusion of the party primaries.
- He called for massive grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and all APC candidates.
- Ogundele announced the Grassroots Mobilisation for KOH support group as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots engagement ahead of 2027.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly aspirant for Epe Constituency I, Hon. Lanre Ogundele, has called on party members, supporters and loyalists to put the recently concluded primary elections behind them and unite towards securing victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Ogundele made the call at a public function in Epe, urging APC members to work collectively for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the election of Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Governor of Lagos State, and the victory of all APC candidates at the federal and state levels.
“Primaries are over, it is now time for us to work as a united family, to ensure victory for our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our incoming Governor in Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and all APC candidates,” Ogundele said.
The aspirant, who has continued to strengthen his engagement with residents across Epe, said the conclusion of the primaries presented an opportunity for party members to reconcile differences, close ranks and concentrate on the larger objective of strengthening the APC ahead of the general elections.
He urged members to prioritise the collective interest of the party over individual ambitions, stressing that unity and effective grassroots mobilisation would be crucial to achieving the desired electoral outcome.
Ogundele said the APC would embark on extensive mobilisation and engagement with residents across communities to communicate the party’s programmes and encourage voters to support its candidates.
“We thank God for our great political party, the All Progressives Congress. It is indeed a party of the progressives. We are going to go all out to mobilise, campaign and seek massive votes for the party,” he stated.
He disclosed that he had established a support group known as Grassroots Mobilisation for KOH, which, according to him, would serve as part of the mobilisation structure for the party ahead of 2027.
“KOH is the symbol, but we are mobilising for the party. We are going to go everywhere and meet everybody and let them know why they must make APC their best choice and therefore vote for all the party’s flag-bearers in the 2027 general elections,” Ogundele said.
The APC chieftain said the mobilisation would extend to different communities and grassroots structures, with emphasis on engaging residents directly and explaining the importance of supporting the party’s candidates across the various levels of government.
He also called on party faithful to remain disciplined and committed to the APC, noting that the period after the primaries should be used to consolidate the party’s structures and strengthen its connection with the electorate.
Ogundele expressed confidence that a united APC, backed by effective grassroots mobilisation, would secure a strong electoral performance in Epe Constituency I, Epe Division and Lagos State in 2027.
