A 27-year-old man, Muktar Shehu, has been arraigned before the Chief Magistrate Court 3 in Yola, Adamawa State, over the alleged theft of 27 pieces of underwear belonging to a woman.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Shehu, a resident of Zango Ward in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area, was arraigned by the Adamawa State Police Command on charges of house trespass, theft and criminal charm.

The case was brought before the court by the police prosecutor, Danjuma Hamidu.
According to the First Information Report tendered by the prosecutor, Shehu allegedly broke into the residence of Halima Yakubu on August 6, 2026, and stole 27 pieces of underwear.

The prosecution alleged that the suspect told police investigators that he stole the underwear for ritual purposes.
Following his arraignment, Chief Magistrate Court 3 ordered that Shehu be remanded in custody.
The case was adjourned for further proceedings.
