Addressing attendees, the monarch expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, describing the gathering as a testament to the enduring bond between Igbogbo at home and those living abroad.
Oba Kasali specially appreciated the presence of Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, for honouring the occasion despite his busy schedule.
The royal father also acknowledged community leaders, organisers, and members of the Igbogbo diaspora for their commitment to preserving the kingdom’s cultural identity beyond Nigeria’s borders.
He equally commended the Publisher of Eko Hot Blog, Otunba TJ Abass, for attending the event and delivering an enlightening presentation on the history and heritage of Igbogbo Kingdom, which further strengthened the cultural consciousness of attendees.
Oba Kasali encouraged Igbogbo indigenes in the diaspora to remain actively engaged with their communities, build meaningful relationships, and create opportunities that would benefit both themselves and the development of their hometown.
Speaking on governance, the monarch reaffirmed his confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing optimism that Hon. Babajimi Benson would continue his impressive record of representation and deliver even greater dividends of democracy to the people of Ikorodu.
He urged the federal lawmaker to remain the voice of the people at the national level, advocating for policies and initiatives that would improve the welfare of citizens and ensure continued development across the constituency.
