400 Nigerians Deported from UAE

According to a report by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the deportees include 90 females and 310 males.

The deported individuals were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja by various federal agencies, including the Office of the National Security Adviser, the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and other relevant stakeholders.

This follows a recent report of 103 Nigerians being deported from the Republic of Turkey. These individuals were similarly received by NEMA and other federal agencies upon their return to Nigeria.

The 400 deportees from the UAE arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Friday at 7:00 p.m., via the pilgrims’ wing of the airport.
