The Lagos State Police Command on Sunday confirmed the death of a 45 year old electrician who lost his life while attempting to reconnect electricity cables to a pole.

Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement by its spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyi, the Command said the incident occurred on Sunday, August 10, at about 11:30 a.m. in the Shasha area of the state.

According to the statement, the electrician died while reconnecting electricity cables to a pole in Shasha. After the case was reported, a team of police detectives visited the scene.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where the doctor on duty confirmed him dead.
