UPDATED: Police Arrest Officers Connected To Sexual Harassment Video Of NYSC Member
– The Nigeria police command have arrested men of the law for unlawfully harassing an Ibadan graduate
– Reports saying the lady was found in the home of an alleged kidnapper
– Parading the suspects, the officer changed the narrative into a sex talk, which is a violation of the lady’s right.
The Nigeria Police Force has arrested two suspects in connection to the sexual harassment video of an Ibadan graduate who was arrested in the home of an alleged kidnapper.
The Force made the development known in a series of tweets shared on Twitter.
Ekohotblog recalled that a 25-year-old female suspect, Towobola, was arrested alongside a kidnapper in Ibadan.
Reacting to the harassment, the Nigeria Police Force assured in a series of tweets on Wednesday, said that an investigation has commenced on the case.

After due investigation was conducted, the Force arrested the suspect alongside his accomplices.
The command identified the suspects as ASP Tijani Olatunji and Inspr Gboyega Oyeniyi.
The tweets read,
Following investigations into the dehumanizing treatment of a female citizen, as shown in a viral video on Wednesday, 22nd July 2020, the Nigeria Police Force has identified three (3) police officers and one (1) civilian accomplice who participated in the unprofessional act.
Two (2) suspects, ASP Tijani Olatunji and Inspr Gboyega Oyeniyi, have been arrested for their role in the discreditable conduct and incivility to a member of the public.
While parading the suspect, the policeman who was identified as Wyclef made a video recording of the alleged kidnapper and the female suspect, asking her embarrassing questions about her sex life.
They are currently being detained at the Lagos State CID detention facility, Panti, Yaba.
Preliminary investigations show that the policemen who are attached to Area ‘A’ Command, Lion Building, Lagos, were on legitimate investigation activities to Ibadan, Oyo State, where the incident took place.
Efforts are being intensified to arrest the two other accomplices. Meanwhile, appropriate disciplinary procedures will be initiated as soon as investigations are concluded.
