Job Title: Male Cook

Job Description
Enthusiastic, well experience Local and National dishes especially (Edo, Delta and other eastern part delicacies), who has good knowledge about food, kitchen department and also good knowledge about inventory and purchase management.
To prepare a consistent, high-quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service as per customer requirement & satisfaction.
Ensures that all food prepared and served is according to the Standards.
Check daily mis-en-place, preparation, cooking and presentation of all food.
Ensure briefing and grooming of respective areas.
Assist in the planning of menu, daily specialties and Food promotions.
Check the quality and quantity of food received directly from the market, food store and other sub-departments.
Control food cost by minimizing spoilage, food portioning.
Maintaining minimum but adequate food inventory and utilizing food surpluses.
Requirements
The successful applicant must be conversant with *Edo, Delta, Eastern part and African Cuisine with a minimum of 2 years experience as Chef in restaurant or Kitchen.
Minimum of SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
Knowledge of kitchen equipment
Complete command of culinary basics
Active listening skills: implementing the advice offered
Time management skills
Paying attention to detail and quality: respecting the instructions given
Team spirit and adaptability.
Salary
N40,000 monthly.
