A Nigerian man has taken to social media to lament the tawdry job done by an unnamed road construction company in an ongoing construction project in Edo State.
The man, who, in a now viral video identified himself as Paulson Great, admonished Nigerians to begin the change they want to see in the country by championing the cause of change within their local communities.
A visibly upset Paulson, while critically evaluating the quality of work done by the road construction company somewhere in the Akoko-Edo Local Government of Edo State, decried a gaping non-compliance to rudimentary construction pre-requisites.
According to him, the shallow gutter drilled as a drainage conduit has no rods to complement the concrete; worst of all, leads to a dead end where the water cannot flow outbound another outlet.
“This drainage wey you dey see so, rod no dey. I no know where dey go carry plaster dey carry plaster wall, rod no dey, nothing dey,” Paulson said in pidgin while appraising the construction project.
Paulson further stormed down the main road to expose the sloppy and untidy job done by the contractors. Using his bare hands, he ripped off the asphalt from the ground as he continued to lambaste the grottiness of the road construction project.
“If motor waka for this road now, that very day e go remove am (the asphalt). You dey see am? Na my hand I dey take dey open am so. Na our community be this, which kind rubbish be this one?”

“That rubbish wey dem dey always talk say half bread is better than none, ne e kill Nigeria come reach today so. If you wan do something do am well. You not put stone-base, you no put anything, at least na somebody award this contract. You should look at the contractor that is doing this job,” Paulson continued his tirades and chastisements.
