JUST IN: Gunmen Strike In Abuja, Kill One, Injure Scores
- Unknown gunmen have struck in Abuja, killed a resident and injured scores.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that gunmen have attacked a Fulani camp in Abuja and injured scores of the inhabitants.
It was gathered that the Fulani camp attacked by the gunmen is located behind LEA Nomadic School, near Gwako village, Gwagwalada Area Council, Abuja.
EKOHOTBLOG learnt that the gunmen, who attacked the Abuja community on Friday, killed one herder and injured others.
It was gathered that the victim, who was killed by the assailants, has been identified as Goma Haruna.

As gathered by EKOHOTBLOG, the incident was confirmed by the Secretary, Gwagwalada chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breaders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Mohammed Usman, noting that that the latest attack has heightened tension in the Fulani camp over fear of more attacks.
The incident was further confirmed by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maryam Yusuf, on Saturday.
The police spokesperson noted that the operatives of the command have been mobilized to the area to arrest the assailants.
