EKO HOT BLOG reports that ThankGod Omori Jesam, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has sparked a debate on social media after he claimed that he is the biggest music video director in Nigeria. The music director boasted on Twitter that he is friends with most Nigerian music video directors, but maintained that none of them is better than him.

The controversial tweet read, “every director na my guy and them sabi die but non “bigger” than boy.” The post attracted backlash as fans took to the comment section to disagree with TG Omori’s claims.

Some of the fans insisted that renowned music video directors like Clarence Peters, Director K, Meji Alabi, and others are bigger than him.

However, TG Omori appeared to be unbothered by the backlash as he fired back at his critics. In a tweet, he said, “You can cry your tears here; we will check on them later. I have videos to edit.”

The controversy sparked a conversation on social media, with many users weighing in on the topic. Director K, who is also a popular music video director, pleaded with fans to cease fire, adding that TG Omori is like family to him. He wrote, “you guys should relax @boy_director is my BROTHER.”

Despite the plea for peace, TG Omori continued to stoke the flames of the controversy, stating that he hates “short tears.” The comments have left many wondering if there is a rift between TG Omori and other music video directors in the industry.
