Governors Outline Post-Election Plans: Uzodimma, Diri, Ododo Share Vision For States

Diri, in his statement, thanked voters for their confidence and trust, emphasizing the need for temperate celebration. He recognized the collective will of the people and reaffirmed his commitment to being the governor for all, irrespective of political affiliations.
Diri lamented attempts to hijack the process, resulting in violence and intimidation, expressing condolences for lives lost.
Uzodimma, in his acceptance speech at the Government House in Owerri, congratulated and commiserated with his fellow contestants, emphasizing the collective victory for Imo people.
He called for unity and collaboration, recognizing that only one person emerges victorious in a democratic contest. Uzodimma acknowledged the stakeholders, including labour unions, workers, traders, and others, for their contributions to his victory.
Ododo, expressing gratitude to Kogites, recognized their trust as the guiding compass for transparent and inclusive governance. He thanked President Buhari, Vice President Shettima, APC National Chairman Ganduje, and Governor Bello for their contributions and leadership.
Ododo pledged to work closely with the Federal Government to bring development to Kogi State.
