Taking to his Instagram account to address the issue, The singer clarified that the photos in question were from a previous time when he had shaved his beard in 2021, not recently.

In his statement, Burna Boy stated, “I gotta apologize to Nigerian blogs now cuz I thought their stupidity was unique, I didn’t know they learned all they know from the West.”
This comes after Burna Boy had previously threatened legal action against Nigerian blogs for their coverage of him, alleging that they were unwilling to refrain from posting about him despite his attempts to negotiate their silence.
