Bandits Kill Five Policemen, Three Soldiers in Deadly Zamfara Ambush
At least eight security personnel were killed by bandits on Thursday near Tazame village in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to local resident Mubarak Mohammed, the victims, which included five policemen and three soldiers, were providing security for Satraco Nigeria Limited, a road construction company.
Mohammed explained that the security team had been stationed along the Gusau-Tsafe-Zaria Road to protect construction workers repairing the road.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the bandits reportedly ambushed the security personnel, opening fire as they arrived at the site, resulting in multiple fatalities.
