Operatives of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) have arrested Shizzer Joy Nasara Bada, the former Commissioner of Finance and Accountant General under Nasir el-Rufai’s administration in Kaduna State.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Bada was reportedly apprehended on Sunday at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos while attempting to leave the country.
Her arrest follows suspicions that Bada might be fleeing due to ongoing corruption investigations involving her and former Governor el-Rufai. ICPC officials had been monitoring her movements after receiving intelligence that she may be trying to evade questioning.
