Yahoo Boy Arrested After Video of Tied Woman Surfaces in Abuja Hotel
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed the arrest of an alleged internet fraudster accused of detaining a young woman in Abuja for money rituals.
Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) made the arrest.
In a statement released Thursday night, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that the police are waiting for the NSCDC to transfer custody of the suspect to their command.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a video surfaced on social media on Thursday, showing a young woman tied up in a room. She was allegedly confined by her boyfriend at the Top View Hotel in Wuse, Abuja, for ritualistic purposes.
SP Adeh further explained, “Findings indicate that the NSCDC has taken the suspect into custody but has yet to transfer him to the police for a thorough investigation.”
