GCOSA Donates Dialysis Machine to Badagry General Hospital
EKO HOT BLOG reports that during the unveiling, the president of the association, Atinuke Alex-Oni, explained the machine’s function, which cleanses impure blood from the body.
“The machine removes dirty blood, filters it through a dialyzer (artificial kidney), and returns the cleaned blood to your system. Without proper filtration, the contaminated blood can gradually poison your organs,” she noted.

She expressed joy in seeing the dialysis machine handed over to the hospital’s management.
Moye Olumide, Chairman of the GCOSA Planning Committee, highlighted the effort involved in making the donation a reality. “There were many meetings, approvals to secure, and other processes. We had to be physically present, but we thank God we are all here today, including our seniors from abroad.”
