Yahaya Bello Reports to EFCC Over Fresh Charges

Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello appeared at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday regarding allegations leveled against him by the anti-graft agency.

Bello arrived at the EFCC office in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by his legal team. This follows a November 14 hearing where the EFCC requested an adjournment until November 27, citing an active 30-day window for the summons issued to Bello.

In a separate development, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma expressed confidence that he would complete his tenure without fear of EFCC investigations or accusations of misconduct.

Speaking after the Feast of Christ the King Mass at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, Uzodimma invited anyone with evidence of wrongdoing during his administration to come forward.

The governor emphasized his administration’s commitment to prosperity, infrastructure development, and restoring dignity to Imo State, affirming that his legacy would reflect these achievements.
