Late Akwa Ibom First Lady, Patience Umo Eno Laid To Rest (PHOTOS)
The late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, was laid to rest on Friday, with an outpouring of condolences for Governor Umo Eno and the people of the state.
Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, expressed his sympathies, describing Mrs. Eno’s passing as a significant loss to her family, Akwa Ibom State, and the nation. He prayed for God’s strength and comfort for the bereaved family during this challenging period.

The Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND) also mourned her loss, referring to her as the beloved “Mother of the State” and extending their condolences to the Governor and his family.
During a service of songs held in honour of his late wife, Governor Umo Eno expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, as well as Nigerians at home and abroad, for their unwavering support, prayers, and love.

He thanked everyone who joined in the funeral ceremonies held at his country home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, noting that their solidarity had provided solace to his family in their time of grief.
The funeral service was attended by dignitaries, clergy, and well-wishers who came to pay their last respects.
