Tobun Urges Teachers to Embrace Diligence and Commitment in Epe

The lawmaker representing Epe Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, has called on teachers to demonstrate diligence and commitment in their roles as educators.
Ekohotblog gathers that speaking to the Journalists on Monday after schools resumed academic activities following the Yuletide break, Tobun emphasized the critical role teachers play in shaping the future of society.

He described the teaching profession as one that demands patience, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure students excel both academically and morally.
“Society expects that the children under your care turn out well in both learning and character, so teachers should take their jobs seriously.
The future of society depends greatly on the training and upbringing we give to children today. Teaching is a significant responsibility,” Tobun said.
The lawmaker commended the Lagos State Government for its ongoing efforts to improve the education sector, stating that a collective approach involving all stakeholders is necessary for meaningful progress.
“Every stakeholder should be involved in the campaign to strengthen the education system. It is a collective responsibility,” he noted.

Tobun also urged parents to actively participate in their children’s education by assisting with homework and monitoring their academic progress.
He reminded school children to remain focused on their studies, stressing the importance of academic dedication to their future success.
