Amidst concerns surrounding Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa’s political future following his recent impeachment, a gathering of All Progressives Congress (APC) party leaders took place to address the situation and reassure members of their commitment to Obasa’s continued relevance in Lagos politics.
The meeting was marked by a passionate declaration from one of the APC stalwarts, Jubril Abdulkareem, who confidently proclaimed, “We have no one else, Obasa is our leader in Agege. “We own Agege, no shaking.”
“We, leaders, exco and members of APC in Agege and Orile Agege unanimously show our support for Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, who has contributed immensely to the development of the party in the community.
“We also pledge unflinching support for the national leader of the party, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Despite the recent incident, we still believe in his sense of judgment.”
Other leaders urged Obasa supporters to remain firm and united, adding that they remain members of the All Progressives Congress in Agege Local Government and will enjoy the goodies of being a party member.
“Obasa is our leader in Agege, let us not be bothered by the Speakership issue that happened. God will help resolve the issue of Speakership and we will be favoured by God’s grace. Obasa is our leader and we stand by him.
