EKO HOT BLOG reports that a source has revealed details surrounding Pastor Abraham Daniel’s arrest by the Nigeria Police Force. Daniel, a former pastor at Dunamis International Gospel Centre, resigned from the church, which led to a series of events culminating in his arrest.
According to the source, Daniel served the church for over a decade, contributing to its rapid growth. However, after alleged disagreement with Pastor Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis, Daniel left the church, which led to significant tension. Pastor Enenche reportedly tried to convince Daniel to return, but the situation escalated, resulting in Daniel’s divorce.

Shortly after his resignation, Daniel began receiving threats through phone calls and social media messages. One day, after being heavily threatened, Daniel was involved in a car accident. The men who arrived at the scene, including one Barrister Abbass, turned out to be police officers who later took him to Karu Police Station. The arrest was said to be made at Pastor Paul Enenche’s request.

Despite efforts to resolve the issue, including a meeting with Pastor Stanley at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Daniel was coerced into deleting his Facebook page. However, after complying, he was disappointed to receive only a small sum of N200,000 from Pastor Enenche, despite a previous agreement.

In early January 2025, Daniel was invited to the Force Intelligence Department (FID) for an interview concerning allegations of cyberbullying, criminal defamation, and public nuisance.

He was shown WhatsApp messages, including one about a dilapidated house belonging to a relative and another involving Deborah Enenche, Pastor Paul Enenche’s daughter, which led to further inquiries.
During his arrest, Daniel was asked to apologise and remove the posts. On January 13, 2025, he attended the police invitation but was detained again.
