The ‘Shake Body’ crooner revealed the lasting trauma the incident caused. “I still wake up every 4-6 a.m. to check outside my window, fearing someone might try to break in.

They act like criminals, scaring innocent people,” he said. “If you’ve never experienced this, you won’t understand the scar it leaves. I’ve never committed such a crime in my life.”

Skales went on to criticize the EFCC for allegedly abusing its power and extorting young Nigerians. “That organization needs to be scrapped or reformed, but we all know reform doesn’t happen in this country,” he said. “I used to respect them, but now I see they use that power to extort money from young people.”
