Nigerian gospel musician Ebuka Songs has revealed that he left Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlight Nation, after feeling led by God to pursue ministry independently and explore new opportunities.
He emphasised that his departure coming just eleven months into a three-year contract does not signal any discord with Moses Bliss.

During an interview on The OpenUp Podcast with Amanda Dara, Ebuka Songs clarified that his exit was entirely amicable.
He expressed gratitude for Moses Bliss’ mentorship, noting that Bliss had guided him through the intricacies of the music business, including copyright and royalty matters, areas he was previously unfamiliar with.
Ebuka Songs also dismissed rumors of any negative remarks about the label following his departure.
Reflecting on his journey, Ebuka Songs recalled the hardships of his early years and thanked God for using him to transform his family’s narrative.

Moses Bliss confirmed that there are no hard feelings, stating, “There are no issues between me and Ebuka Songs. He was signed to Spotlight Nation but later decided to do things on his own.
I prayed about it and decided to let him be. I hold no grudge against him.”
