Real Valladolid has accused Manchester City of influencing one of their players, Juma Bah, to break his contract in order to force through a move to the Premier League club.
On Tuesday, Bah informed the Spanish side of his intention to terminate his contract, which would allow City to acquire the 18-year-old for a significantly lower fee.

Earlier that day, City had made an official request to Valladolid to begin negotiations for a permanent deal.
The following day, Bah was absent from training, and the Spanish Football Association confirmed that he had paid the required amount to terminate his contract.

Valladolid has expressed outrage over the situation, claiming that Bah’s decision was “supposedly supported and guided by Manchester City and his agent,” leading to “great disappointment and indignation.”
The club further accused Manchester City of advising Bah to take this route, alleging the Premier League club’s involvement in the player’s actions.

Bah, who joined Valladolid on loan from AIK Freetong in Sierra Leone last summer, had his loan agreement converted into a permanent deal earlier this month. However, he has yet to sign a senior contract, which would raise his release clause substantially.
Valladolid has stated that it will take disciplinary action against Bah and will do everything necessary to protect the club’s interests.
