A suspected vandal has been apprehended by members of the Amotekun security outfit along the Ketu-Molajoye axis of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA in Epe.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the alleged vandal was reportedly handed over to the traditional leader of Ketu and subsequently transferred to the Police for further investigation.

The development comes amid months of persistent power outages in Epe and its environs due to acts of Power infrastructure vandalism by unscrupulous individuals.
As a result, residents in the area have been bearing the brunt of the situation, with the cost of living continuing to rise.
Efforts to reconnect several communities to the national grid earlier this year faced a significant setback due to persistent vandalism in the area.

Epe LG Chairman Princess Surah Animashaun and other stakeholders have consistently denounced these acts of vandalism, emphasizing the detrimental effects on the community’s living standards and economic growth.
The repeated targeting of critical infrastructure not only hinders efforts to restore power but also jeopardizes the overall development and well-being of the region.
