Nollywood actress Pat Ugwu has passed away at the age of 35.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that her colleague, Emeka Okoye, confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, sharing a funeral poster with details of her arrangements.
“Rest in peace sis, Pat Ugwu @patpat_ugwu. So we won’t work together again? Death, why? God, please. Rest in peace, PAT. May your soul rest in the bosom of the Lord,” Emeka wrote, expressing his grief.

He also shared his concerns over the rising number of tragic losses in the industry, stating, “God please protect all my colleagues, especially those I’m close to. This unusual death is frightening.
I proclaim life for everyone close to me this 2025, in the precious blood of Jesus. Amen.”
The cause of Pat’s death has not yet been disclosed.

Several Nollywood stars, including Rita Edochie, Destiny Etiko, Nkechi Blessing, and Kevin Mike, have reacted to the sad news.
