Nollywood veteran actor John Amaefule was rushed to a hospital in Owerri, Imo State, early this morning after suffering a stroke.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to a message from his doctor, Amaefule experienced a stroke on the left side of his brain, which is believed to be causing right-sided weakness.

His family has issued an urgent plea for financial assistance to cover essential medical tests—including a lipid panel, Hemoglobin A1c, and electrolyte, urea, and creatinine assessments as well as to fund necessary treatments.

The actor is expected to be placed on medications for cholesterol management (atorvastatin), blood pressure control (potentially losartan or hydrochlorothiazide, depending on his diabetic status), and antiplatelet therapy (aspirin and clopidogrel).
