Job Title: Site Architect
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Site Architect to ensure the accurate interpretation and implementation of architectural designs on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing site activities, maintaining design integrity, and collaborating with contractors to resolve any architectural issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and communicate the supervising architect’s design intent to contractors and site staff.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure strict adherence to architectural plans.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or deviations from the approved designs.
- Collaborate with contractors and site personnel to address design-related concerns.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved plans and specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive records of site progress, including reports and photographs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Design Accuracy: Minimal discrepancies in design implementation.
- Site Safety: Adherence to safety protocols with no accidents or near-misses.
- Communication: Effective coordination with all stakeholders.
- Timeliness: On-time project completion with no delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural site supervision.
- Proven ability to interpret and enforce design intent on-site.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian building codes and regulations.
