During an appearance on the Arise Television Morning Show on Friday, the Kogi-born senator reiterated her claims. In response, Unoma denied the allegations, claiming that Natasha was maligning her husband for personal gain.
She described the charges as demeaning and defended Akpabio as a disciplined, jovial individual, adding that he and Natasha’s husband are close friends.
In a letter dated March 1, 2025, sent to Unoma via her lawyer Victor Giwa, Natasha warned her to refrain from interfering in what she described as a personal matter for the Senate President. Titled “Stay Away from Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Sexual Harassment and Intimidation Allegation Against Sen. President Godswill Akpabio; To Safeguard Your Sanity and That Of Your Family,” the letter stressed that Akpabio should address the allegations himself.
