As the Deputy Majority Leader of the Nigerian Senate, Ningi reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and his commitment to the people of Bauchi State. He stressed that his decision to run was driven by a desire to serve rather than personal ambition.
“I am not in this race for recognition or popularity—I have already earned my place. Rising to the position of Deputy Senate Leader is proof of my contributions,” Ningi stated.
He further underscored his deep-rooted ties to the PDP, emphasizing that he has remained loyal since the party’s formation. “I am a founding member of the PDP. I have never left, and I never will. Our objective is to strengthen the party, retain control in Bauchi State, and reclaim power at the national level in 2027.”

Ningi urged party stakeholders to begin preparations for the upcoming elections, stressing the need for a strong and politically experienced candidate who can secure victory and build on the PDP’s achievements in the state.
