Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled QA – WordPress Plugin Tester to join our team at WPMU DEV. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing new plugin features, identifying issues, and ensuring optimal performance across different WordPress and PHP versions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct beta testing for plugin and service releases.
- Perform user testing, functionality tests, regression tests, and compatibility checks.
- Test against different WordPress and PHP versions, as well as popular third-party plugins.
- Identify performance issues, report bugs, and track resolutions.
- Provide detailed issue reports with screenshots or video reproductions.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress and experience in testing WordPress plugins and themes.
- Strong understanding of MySQL, Git, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, unit testing, automated and manual testing.
- Ability to systematically reproduce issues and document detailed troubleshooting steps.
