The Epe Grammar School Old Students Association (EGOSA) gathered at the solemn event held in Epe Club to celebrate the life and contributions of the late Otunba Taiwo Bola Odebiyi, a revered founding father of the Epe Club, a pioneer member of the association and a committed community leader.

His commitment to the development of the community and his deep involvement in educational initiatives were highlighted by various speakers, who remembered him as a compassionate leader dedicated to making a difference.

Alhaja Alade Raji, an EGOSA member, recalled how Otunba Odebiyi always prioritized the well-being of others, ensuring that future generations had the resources they needed to succeed.
“He gave so much of himself to the betterment of this community, and his influence can still be seen in the lives of many,” she said

The tribute continued with reflections on his ability to unite people from different walks of life. His contributions to Epe Grammar School and his encouragement of academic excellence were emphasized as integral to his enduring legacy.
Rep. Wale Raji, a prominent figure in the Epe Federal Constituency, was also present to pay his respects. In his speech, Rep. Raji described Otunba Odebiyi as a leader whose impact transcended his immediate surroundings.
