On Friday, they were charged in separate suits with various alleged offenses, including claiming supernatural powers to generate wealth, manipulating destiny, and conspiracy to commit felony kidnapping and fraud.
The Prosecution Counsel, Mr. F.C. Okeke, declared the prosecution’s readiness to proceed with the case, stating that the charges had been served to the defense.

However, the Defense Counsel, Mr. S.O. Iwuoba, and others argued that the processes were not served in a timely manner, hindering their ability to respond appropriately. As a result, the charges were not read in detail during the court session.
Presiding Judge Justice Jude Obiora ordered the suspects to be returned to Agunechemba’s detention facility, allowing for proper processes to be followed.
