- 2027: APC Will Bury Opposition Parties For Good – Fani-Kayode.
- Blames opposition disunity, not Tinubu, for one-party dominance.
- Mocks 2027 coalition as selfish, disorganised, and doomed.
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has expressed strong confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure a landslide victory in the 2027 general elections, citing the opposition’s continued weakness and disarray.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement posted on his official X handle on Saturday, Fani-Kayode described the APC as the most “united and focused party” in Nigeria’s political history, while blasting the opposition as fragmented, undisciplined, and lacking leadership.
He argued that the growing dominance of the APC should not be blamed on President Bola Tinubu, but rather on the inability of opposition parties to present a credible and coordinated challenge.
“The opposition forces are the weakest, most fragmented, most indisciplined, most cowardly, most incompetent, most confused, most divided and most badly led in our entire history. They are truly pitiful and pathetic,” Fani-Kayode said.
He added that the chaos within the opposition ranks — including their inability to conduct internal meetings without conflict — shows they are unfit to govern. “They cannot even hold a NEC or National Caucus meeting without insults, rancour and exchanging blows,” he stated.

Taking a swipe at efforts to form an opposition coalition ahead of 2027, the APC chieftain dismissed the movement as a self-serving alliance driven by personal ambition rather than national interest.
“You are busy running up and down shamelessly to find a platform in the name of some far-fetched and illusionary alliance. You have put your personal ambitions before the collective interest of our nation and your respective parties,” he said.
Fani-Kayode concluded with a fiery warning: “I can’t wait till 2027 so that we can bury you all over again — only this time, it will be for good.”
