Segun Sowunmi, an influential political figure and former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, has spoken highly of President Bola Tinubu’s intellect following their meeting at Tinubu’s Lagos residence on Monday.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in an interview with Channels TV, Sowunmi emphasized his long-standing relationship with the president, dating back to 1994, and expressed his desire to better understand the opposition’s criticism of Tinubu’s government.

Despite being a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sowunmi praised Tinubu’s ability to address all of his questions intelligently.
“First of all, his brain is very alert. He’s fit, never mind that he is frail.
“The kind of questions I asked him – you know when you’re asking someone questions and the person is answering without looking at a book – and he is answering it the way he sees it and you’re agreeing,” he said.
