Adewunmi will lead an executive team comprised of: Tunji Amosu – Vice President, Toyin Deinde – Secretary General, Abimbola Olaniyi – Treasurer, Francis Ofordu – Membership Secretary, Ose Lato – Social Secretary, Vincent Olasogba – Sports Secretary, Tokunbo Ashiru – Council Member
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Kola Oyefeso, said: “It would have been sheer indifference to inaugurate this Council as if nothing had happened. We must acknowledge what we have passed through for the sake of transparency and institutional memory.”
Oyefeso, who noted that the impression was that we have a “faulty constitution that was capitalised upon,” called for “a comprehensive review to prevent a recurrence.”

In his inaugural speech, Adewunmi apologized for past misunderstandings and promised to unite the club’s divided membership. He also announced the creation of a new eSports section aimed at empowering young members and enhancing the club’s offerings.
Olayinka Ogunmekan, chairman of the dissolved caretaker committee, expressed pride in the rescue efforts made by his team and encouraged the new management council to avoid seeking vengeance.
He urged them to focus on fostering reconciliation and progress within the club.
“You should start the rebuilding of the battered image of the club,” he said.
