The atmosphere across Epe Local Government was charged with energy, celebration, and political solidarity on Wednesday, as Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, triumphantly concluded her extensive ward-to-ward campaign tour.
Ekohotblog reports that the final leg of the grassroots engagement covered Wards A4, A2, C1, D1, A5, and A6, bringing the tour to a historic and vibrant close.

Thousands of residents turned out in droves, welcoming the council boss with chants, cultural performances, and open endorsements.
The event was more than a political outing ,it was a people-powered affirmation of leadership built on tangible progress, inclusion, and vision.
Hon. (Princess) Animashaun was accompanied by a powerful lineup of All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, including Hon. Abiodun Tobun, Hon. Bola Gbabijo, Hon. Segun Agbaje, Hon. Ahmed Ayinde Seriki, Hon. Kenny Kadri, Hon. Alinson Kadri, Otunba Bode Alausa, Comrade Toyin Gbadamosi, Hon. Tunde Ogunkoya, and Leader Akin Oladipupo, among others.
Their presence reflected strong party unity and a solid endorsement of her second-term aspirations.
In her remarks at each stop, the Chairman expressed appreciation to residents and reeled out her administration’s achievements, spanning infrastructure development, educational improvements, primary healthcare upgrades, and empowerment programs for youth, women, and vulnerable citizens.
“Our ward tour may be ending today, but the journey to a greater Epe continues,” she said. “We are building on progress and driven by vision, and together, we will keep moving Epe forward.”
APC chieftain Hon. Abiodun Tobun also commended her performance, saying, “Hon. Surah Animashaun has raised the bar in local governance. What we are seeing here today is proof that good governance still matters.”
Another party leader, Hon. Segun
Agbaje, remarked, “The crowd says it all. People don’t follow noise, they follow impact, and Surah has delivered.”

Community members echoed these sentiments, affirming their continued support. Mrs. Iyabo Seriki, a market woman from Ward C1, stated, “She gave us light, water, and helped our children with school support. We are behind her 100 percent.”
As the tour concluded, attention now shifts to the much-anticipated Divisional Mega Rally on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, which promises to be a major convergence of political leaders, stakeholders, and grassroots supporters from across Epe Division.
