NIMR Media Chat is a monthly health education and advocacy conversation, an initiative of the current Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, Prof. John Oladapo Obafunwa.
June’s conversation was anchored by Dr. Babatunde Adewale, a Public Health Parasitologist and Director of Research at the Institute.
He discussed Nigeria’s quest for the elimination of River Blindness, called Onchocerciasis in medical terms.
