U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin over the ongoing war in Ukraine, accusing him of “talking bullshit” and pledging renewed military support for Kyiv. Speaking during a televised cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Trump expressed frustration at Moscow’s refusal to embrace peace, despite a recent phone call he described as unproductive.

“He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless,” Trump said, referencing his latest call with Putin. He added that he is seriously reviewing new sanctions proposed by the Senate against Russia.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Trump’s outburst follows his decision to reverse a brief pause in arms deliveries to Ukraine. He confirmed that the U.S. will resume supplying Kyiv with defensive weapons, including 10 Patriot missile systems. “Putin is not treating human beings right. He’s killing too many people,” he said. Trump also urged Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to push for faster arms production.
In response, the Kremlin said the renewed U.S. military support would only prolong the conflict. “These actions do not align with peaceful resolutions,” said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the renewed support and announced intensified air defense talks with Washington. He emphasized the urgency of implementing promised measures to protect civilians.
On the battlefield, Russia claimed a major breakthrough by capturing the village of Dachne in Ukraine’s central Dnipropetrovsk region, marking its first territorial gain in the area. Ukraine has denied any Russian foothold, though it admitted the situation remains “difficult.”
Despite international pressure, Putin continues to push forward, with recent missile and drone attacks hitting military and industrial targets across Ukraine. Kyiv responded with a drone strike on a Russian ammunition depot near Moscow.
