Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has revealed that she is still open to the idea of marriage, having walked down the aisle five times in the past, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Bukky Wright, now in her late 50s, opens up on love, life, and hope for marriage again.

In a revealing chat with BBC Yoruba, Bukky Wright, now 58, opened up about the highs and lows of her life from her rise to fame and personal heartbreaks, to navigating life abroad and making a return to the Nigerian film industry.
Touching on the topic of love and relationships, she expressed her openness to finding love again:
“When it comes to marriage, I’m still very much interested,if it is part of God’s plan for me.

“It’s not a do-or-die affair. I’m not saying other women shouldn’t get married. In my own case, I still believe in it.”
She went on to share a deeply personal moment during her pilgrimage to the Holy Kaaba:
“To show how serious I am, when I visited Al Kaaba, I prayed earnestly to God. And I believe He is a God who answers prayers.”
The thespian acknowledged that the journey wasn’t just about spiritual fulfillment; it was a heartfelt plea for renewed love, divine connection, and alignment with her destiny.

Although marriage is no longer at the top of her priorities, the beautiful actress affirmed that her heart remains open to love.
“I’m still interested in getting married,” she stated, while stressing that such a decision rests in God’s hands. For her, it’s not about urgency, but about divine timing and destiny unfolding at the right moment.
