The delegation paid homage to each of the six royal fathers to seek their support and urge them to encourage their communities to participate fully in the electoral process by voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Our monarchs are highly respected figures whose voices carry great influence in our communities.
I have come to seek their royal blessings and request that they mobilize their people to come out en masse to vote APC on July 12,” said Hon. Anomo during the visit.
In his remarks, Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf, Chairman of the LOC, appreciated the monarchs for their support, especially their collective contribution towards the purchase of the APC nomination form for Hon. Anomo.
He further appealed to them to sensitize their communities on the importance of voting, not just for the immediate election, but also for the future development of Ikosi-Ejinrin.
“Your support is deeply appreciated. I humbly ask that you continue to encourage your people to vote, as the outcome of this election will impact possible local government creation and infrastructural benefits from the state,” Otunba Yusuf noted.
Also speaking during the visits, Hon. Dr. Onanuga Samsondeen emphasized that voter turnout is a key driver for progress in the LCDA.
“The greater our participation, the stronger our voice at the state level. Let us come out in large numbers and vote APC to sustain and increase the pace of development,” he said.
The six monarchs who received the delegation and offered their royal blessings include:
1. HRM Oba Rafiu Ishola Babatunde Balogun (Ejalonibu II) – The Elejinrin of Ejinrin Kingdom
