The Epe Local Government Executive Council, led by Vice Chairman Hon. Sikiru Owolomose Adeniyi, has embarked on a project inspection tour to evaluate the progress of key infrastructure projects initiated under the administration of Executive Chairman, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun FHTI.
Ekohotblog reports that the tour focused on assessing landmark projects, including the Museum and Library Center, the Epe Local Government Staff Quarters, a Health Center, and the ongoing construction of Akodu Street.

These initiatives are designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and economic growth.
At the Museum and Library Center, located within the council secretariat, the inspection team expressed satisfaction with the ongoing work.
“This project will promote education, culture, and tourism in Epe and beyond. Its completion will be a significant achievement for our community,” stated Hon. Owolomose Adeniyi.
The team also assessed the Epe Local Government Staff Quarters, which aim to provide comfortable housing for council staff.
Hon. Rahmon Saheed Olalekan, Secretary to the Local Government, commented, “This project highlights the administration’s dedication to improving staff welfare, which directly impacts productivity and service delivery.”
The Health Center, which will expand access to quality healthcare services, was another focus of the tour. Engr. Olaseni Hamid, the Council Engineer, remarked,
“We are pleased with the progress so far and are committed to ensuring the project meets the highest standards to serve the community effectively.”
The team also inspected the construction of Akodu Street, an infrastructure project that will improve connectivity and facilitate economic activities.
Hon. Sikiru Ramoni Adewale, Supervisor for Civic Engagement and Works, said,
“This road is a lifeline for many residents. Its completion will ease transportation and boost local commerce.”
Throughout the tour, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun, was commended for her visionary leadership and dedication to the development of Epe.
“Her commitment to impactful projects has transformed Epe and earned her the admiration of residents and stakeholders alike,” said Hon. Odupe Fuad Tunde, Supervisor for Environment.
