Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has converted to Islam following her marriage to Tanzanian musician Juma Jux.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the couple’s elaborate cross-cultural wedding earlier this year made headlines, spanning both Nigeria and Tanzania in a days-long celebration.

Jux, speaking in an interview with Afrik Media, confirmed that Priscilla has left Christianity for Islam. He revealed the process wasn’t easy but credited religious leaders with guiding him through it.
According to the singer, the clerics gave him advice on how to handle the delicate matter respectfully, helping Priscilla understand the faith over time.
“It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a Muslim,” Jux admitted. “But I was receiving lessons from religious leaders, and they taught me how to approach it.”
The singer described his wife’s eventual conversion as the result of patient guidance and love. He said he considers himself lucky to have found someone who shares his dreams and beliefs.
“I had a dream about our wedding before it happened. I knew everything about it,” he added.
Priscilla’s religious decision has sparked a mix of reactions online, especially given her high-profile background in Nigeria’s entertainment space.
She had earlier spoken out following a fire incident at her mother Iyabo Ojo’s office, saying, “They want to destroy my marriage.”
