The atmosphere at the valedictory service of Temu Community Junior Secondary School was one of joy and appreciation, as stakeholders gathered to celebrate the school’s achievements and the man behind its establishment, Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives representing Epe Federal Constituency.
Ekohotblog reports that in a heartfelt address, Rep. Raji recounted the humble beginnings of the school, revealing that it was a direct response to a call for help by the Temu Youth Leader, Mr. Ibrahim Jaiyesimi (Gberefu), in 2021. At the time, the community had no public school, leaving children to trek long distances to access basic education.

“Today, those days are behind us. The seed we planted has grown and is now bearing fruit,” Hon. Raji stated with pride, while announcing the construction of a 12-classroom block, complete with furniture, which is expected to be completed before the next academic session in September.
He extended gratitude to Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, former Lagos State Commissioner for Education, for her timely support in fast-tracking approval for the school project.
He also praised the school principal, Mrs. Akinrinmade, and the teaching staff for their unwavering dedication in nurturing the students into academic achievers.
