A 25-year-old man, Michael Ikuedowoni, has died after his girlfriend, Augustina Mowari, allegedly stabbed him during an argument over infidelity.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the tragic incident occurred over the weekend in Okitipupa Local Council of Ondo State. Mowari reportedly attacked Michael with a pair of scissors during a confrontation in their shared apartment.

Sources revealed that the duo had been experiencing repeated quarrels over trust issues, which eventually escalated into a fatal altercation.
A close friend of the deceased, who asked not to be named, disclosed that Mowari had accused Ikuedowoni of being involved with other women, which triggered a violent confrontation.
“Both of them had been dealing with trust issues. On that day, Mowari confronted him about being unfaithful. Things quickly spiraled out of control, and she stabbed him in the leg with a pair of scissors,” the source said.
He added that the injury caused severe swelling, prompting them to rush him to the hospital on Sunday night. Despite medical efforts, he later died from his injuries.
The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the incident through its spokesperson, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade.
“There was an argument between the two, which led to the suspect stabbing the victim with scissors. He later died at the hospital. The suspect is currently in our custody, and the case will be charged to court after investigations,” Ayanlade stated.
