EKO HOT BLOG reports that the parade came days after President Bola Tinubu honoured the team with national awards, including the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), for their performance at the tournament.
Dressed in team colours, the Falcons moved in a convoy across major routes in Lagos, greeted by loud cheers and applause from residents. Fans lined the streets to see the players and celebrate the team’s achievement.
The convoy included official buses and security escorts. People stopped their daily activities to join in the celebration and wave at the players.
The Lagos State Government coordinated the event and ensured order and security throughout the parade.
