“I sincerely thank the people of all the wards for believing in our vision. Your full support has brought us this far.
I urge our royal fathers and stakeholders to continue supporting us with the same energy and commitment, not just for Ikosi-Ejinrin, but also as we prepare for 2027 to ensure the success of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
The chairman assured residents of more impactful projects in the new term, promising development across all communities including Orugbo, Ayandelu, Itokin, Ketu, Temu, Otta Ikosi, and Òwu Ikosi.
“This new term is a promise to do more. We will restore the lost glory of Ejinrin and ensure that everyone feels the presence of good governance.
My ears are open, I will listen, listen, and listen,” Anomo emphasized.
The inauguration was further enriched by remarks from dignitaries including Rt. Hon. Jokotola Pelumi, former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, who gave motivational advice and praised the party’s leadership.
“Failure is a wider application to success. When we fail, we learn to succeed better. I commend Hon. Anomo for his visionary leadership and applaud the efforts of the APC in our LCDA.
I also appreciate Hon. Wasiu Odeyemi WASTAB for his support,” Jokotola said, while urging the newly sworn-in councilors to work actively and deliver for their people.
Also speaking, Hon. Wasiu Odeyemi WASTAB, the APC Apex Leader in Eredo LCDA, encouraged synergy between the legislative and executive arms.
“The chairman cannot do it alone. Councilors must work hand-in-hand with the executive to foster development and create visible change in their communities,” he advised.
Hon. Abass, who led the inaugural proceedings, charged all councilors to return to their various wards and begin immediate work towards grassroots transformation.
